SJB, UNP could have secured CMC if they contested together

The United National Party (UNP) would have secured the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) if both parties, the UNP and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) had contested the local government polls together, a CMC opposition candidate said.

 

UNP candidate for the CMC, Manoharan said both parties should have united before the polls. 

 

"It is not worth discussing about any deals now," he told the media.
