Shani Abeysekara appointed to committee probing Easter attack report

Senior Superintendent of Police Shani Abeysekara has been appointed to the committee investigating the Presidential Commission of Inquiry report on the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks.

 

The appointment was made by Acting Inspector General of Police Priyantha Weerasuriya.

 

Accordingly, the four-member committee, chaired by Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Asanga Karawita, has been expanded to five members to study the investigation report.
