Earth slips block Beragala–Wellawaya road

Traffic on the Beragala–Wellawaya road has been obstructed due to earth slips in the Viharagala area (at the 184 km post), the Disaster Management Centre said.

 

The Badulla District Deputy Director has informed the relevant authorities to clear the road.

 

Motorists are advised to use the Ella–Wellawaya road as an alternative route.
