Man arrested for riding motorcycle naked claims he wanted to live freely

The man who was arrested for riding a motorcycle told the police that he had removed his clothes because he wanted to live freely.

 

He also said that he had thrown away his Apple phone along the way. 

 

He mentioned during questioning that he intended to go to Piduruthalagala, having departed from a hotel in Ahangama on Monday. 

 

While riding his motorcycle, he occasionally undressed. 

 

He also stated that he wanted to observe the public's reaction to his actions as well. 

 

A 23-year-old man from Ahangama riding a motorcycle along the Colombo-Kandy road while naked was arrested by the Kadugannawa Police on Monday morning. 

 

Police officers from several police stations had noticed him and given chase to arrest him but to no avail since he sped away on his motorcycle high of engine capacity. However, Kadugannawa police managed to capture him.
