President forms committee to tackle public service salary anomalies

In a move to address longstanding salary anomalies within the public service, President Ranil Wickremesinghe has announced the formation of a specialized expert committee.  

 

The committee will be chaired by Udaya Seneviratne, a seasoned senior administrative officer and former Secretary to the President.

 

The committee is tasked with evaluating and proposing solutions to the salary disparities that have plagued various sectors of the public service for years.
