Avoid plans to visit Kandy for ‘Siri Dalada Wandanawa’ for next two days - Police

Police advise people to refrain from arriving in Kandy tomorrow and the day after (24 and 25) to venerate and pay their respects to the Sacred Tooth Relic as more than 300,000 devotees have joined the queues by now.

 

Police said the number of devotees having already arrived in Kandy is sufficient for April 24 and 25 and if more people arrive, then they would not be able to worship the Sacred Tooth Relic.
