Textile businessman shot dead in Galle

A textile businessman in Galle was reported dead after being shot at while travelling in a car on Dickson Road in Galle, Police said.

 

The victim, a 50-year-old entrepreneur who owned a textile shop in Galle city, was killed by unidentified gunmen.

 

Police said the assailants fired multiple rounds at the victim, killing him while he was seated in the driver's seat.

 

The Galle Police are conducting investigations.
