’I am in good health’ says MR

Refuting social media reports on his health condition, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa said he is in good health.

 

Responding to a question, he told reporters after an event at Kelani Viharaya that he is in good health and that social media reports should not be taken seriously.

 

"You can see if I am sick or in good health. One should not take what is posted on social media seriously," he said.

 

He also said he was not hoping to remain as the SLPP leader any longer and that young leaders should be given the chance.
