Neglected rice storage facility in Marandagahamula worries locals

The Marandagahamula paddy and rice storage complex constructed about ten years ago has been left to the mercy of the jungle, much to the anxiety of the traders and farmers.

 

The traders pointed out that people are using this storage facility's lanes as jogging tracts.

 

They said the rice and paddy storage complex equipped with weigh bridges has been left without any attention of the relevant authorities. 

 

The traders request the government to refurbish and re-open it for the use and benefit of the business community and the farmers as well.
