What went wrong for Wijedasa’s son Rakitha

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Parliamentarian Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe’s son was arrested over an accident occurred in Rajagiriya last night where four individuals were injured, police said.

 

The vehicle was driven by Wijeyadasa’s son, Rakitha Rajapakshe at the time of the accident. Police said the injured are receiving treatment at the National Hospital Colombo. Rakitha Rajapakshe was arrested while he was receiving treatment at a private hospital.

 

He is to be produced before the Aluthkade Magistrates Court today. The Police have released CCTV footage on the accident involving MP Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe’s son Rakitha Rajapakshe.
