Fuel distributors agree to new formula - Government

The fuel distributors agreed to adhere to the new formula on their commissions introduced by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), Cabinet Spokesman Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said.

 

He told the weekly briefing to announce Cabinet decisions that the agreement was reached at a discussion held with the CPC and the fuel distributors.

 

The Minister said the CPC has agreed to discuss with fuel distributors on March 18 to resolve their issues while the new formula continues.

 

Dr. Jayatissa said there are no reasons for a fuel shortage in the country.
