Government conspiring to evict MR from his residence - Dolawatte

The government is conspiring to evict former President Mahinda Rajapaksa from his residence, former MP Premanath C. Dolawatte said yesterday.
He said this while responding to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake's statement that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa will have to pay Rs. 4.6 million as rent for his residence or will have to leave it.
Dolawatte said people did not give a manadate for the government to evict the former President from his residence.
"Presidents usually do not take revenge from former Presidents personally. While the government is conspiring to evict former President Mahinda Rajapaksa from his residence, it is planing to import vehicles for NPP MPs," he said.
