A man is shot dead in the Lunugamwehera area

A 37-year-old man has been shot and succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital.

 

The incident has been taken place in the Lunugamwehera area last night (April 28) in his house.

 

During a power outage, the victim has been gunned down by the perpetrator from the outside; the preliminary investigations have revealed. 

 

The Lunugamwehera Police are conducting further investigations to apprehend the gunman who fled the scene. The deceased body was moved to the Lunugamwehera Hospital for further magisterial inquest and the postmortem.

 

The motive behind the murder is yet to be discovered.
