US envoy discusses crisis situation in Sri Lanka with Anura

US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Julie Chung and Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake today (May 14) discussed the immediate challenges facing the nation.

In a Twitter message, the US envoy said she would meet with a wide range of political representatives to encourage the Sri Lankan government to work towards a lasting, inclusive solution to the economic crisis.
