One month has passed since the protest at Galle Face Green

Today (May 08) marks one month since the non-partisan protest at the Galle Face Green demanding the resignation of the government.

The protest started recently with the participation of a large number of youths from all over the island. Protesters in the tent office near the president are still protesting day and night.

By now, many such public protests were taking place in the island.
