Two rescued after car overturns in Mahaweli

Two persons have been rescued after a car overturned into the Mahaweli River in the Ilukamodara area on the Kandy-Gurudeniya road this morning Police Media Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said.

However, one person has gone missing with the vehicle and search operations are underway to find the person.
