A fisherman has gone missing after falling from a multi-day fishing trawler

A fisherman has gone missing after falling into the sea on a multi-day fishing trawler that set sail from the Magalla fishing harbor.

 

Police said there were seven people on board the vessel and one of them had capsized while at sea.

 

The missing person is a 25 year old resident of Rathgama.The Galle Port Police and the Sri Lanka Navy have launched a joint search operation for him.
