Drivers will be given special training on road discipline

The Minister of Public Safety Dr. Sarath Weerasekera stated that a special program will be implemented by the Sri Lanka Police and its affiliates to protect road discipline.

 

The Committee also drew attention to the need to provide proper allowances and salaries to the officers of the Sri Lanka Police who are on duty under very difficult conditions without any trade union action or protest.
