Two officers transferred on Galle vaccination incident

Two health services officer of Galle District have been transferred as a result of the investigation done on Galle vaccination program incident happened last Monday. Galle District health services director Priyantha Jeewarathna and Galle regional pandemic disease head Venura Kumara have got transferred.

They have violate quorantine laws and facilitate outsiders to have vaccine, said state minister Channa Jayasumana. Further he stated that these punishment transferred were implemented as per the recommendations forwarded by the investigation team of the health ministry.
