Three women Senior Superintendents of Police have been promoted to the post of DIG

Three female SSPs have been promoted to the post of Acting Deputy Inspector General of Police with immediate effect, police said.

Accordingly, Women Senior Superintendents of Police ND Seneviratne, A.R. Jayasundera and W. J. Padmini has been promoted to the post.

Senior DIG Nihal Thalduwa stated that this is the first time in the history of the Ceylon Police that three WSSPs have been promoted to the post of DIG.
