The validity period of expired driving licenses will be extended

The DMT announced that it will extend the validity period of all driving licences by a maximum of 12 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

The validity period of a driving licence which is due to expire within the period commencing from April 1 and ending on September 30 will be extended by twelve (12) months from the date of such expiry.
