The new South African mutant covid genus cannot be prevented from entering Sri Lanka

Deputy Director General of Health Services, Specialist Dr. Hemantha Herath said that the new covid variety identified from South Africa could not be prevented from entering the country.

Gas World pvt, one of the two private companies producing oxygen in Sri Lanka, said that the demand for oxygen has increased as the number of covid patients in the country has increased rapidly.
