The Cabinet Session of the United Nations General Assembly begins today

The Cabinet of Ministers is scheduled to commence today in parallel to the United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA.

Outgoing President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and Minister of External Affairs Prof. GL Peiris Mr. Peiris arrived in the country yesterday.

Representing Sri Lanka at today's Cabinet Session, Minister Prof. GL Peiris addressed the gathering. Mr. Peiris is scheduled to join and the President is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly the next day.
