The CEB is in a severe crisis due to people not paying their electricity bills

Minister of Power and Energy Gamini Lokuge stated that the CEB owes Rs. 44 million.

He further said that many people have not paid their bills due to the current covid epidemic.

The Minister further said that although no action has been taken to cut off power so far, it can no longer be done.
