11th Covid-19 death reported in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka has reported the 11th death from the COVID-19 infection, Anil Jasinghe, Director General of Health Services confirmed a short while ago.

 

The deceased is a 45 year old male who had arrived from Kuwait. He was receiving treatment at the ICU of the Homagama Hospital. 

 

The total number of coronavirus infections in the country has risen to 1633 by 11 p.m. yesterday.

 

At present 822 persons are under medical supervision in hospitals.

 

A total of 801 people have been completely recovered.
