Tense situation erupts outside Kalmunai Hospital

A tense situation has erupted outside the Kalmunai North Base Hospital on August 1, upon the death of a 34 year old woman.

 

She has been admitted to the hospital on July 31 and she has died,  just hours  after giving birth to a child.

 

The doctors had stated that the woman had developed some complications and had to be subjected to an operation.

 

Her death has raised suspicions among her family and others.

 

A tense situation that arose outside the hospital premises forced  the Police to involve.

 

Five individuals have been arrested by the Police for disorderly conduct outside the hospital.
