Teacher problem without a solution

After a discussion in the Cabinet on the issue of teachers' salaries, Minister Gamini Lokuge said that a sum of Rs. 56 billion should be allocated to resolve this issue.

He further stated that it is not possible to find such money at this time.

However, the issue of teachers' salaries will be resolved in the forthcoming budget, the Minister said.
