Some officials not supporting the President's moves

Presidential Task Force for “Gama Samaga Pilisandara” have observed that some of the officials are not supporting its moves adequately. Such employees are to be reported directly to the Secretary to the President.

 

The move has been published as a  Presidential directive gazette. It has been revealed that certain senior government officials are deliberately delaying the implementation of programmes initiated by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

The 16-member Presidential Task Force led by Minister of Youth and Sports Namal Rajapaksa is mandated to identify and address the “fundamental problems of the grass-roots community” and it has wide-ranging powers.
