Is Naufer Moulavi the mastermind?

Public Security Minister Sarath Weerasekera has officially identified Naufer Moulavi as the mastermind behind the attacks. He claimed that it was this person who had “brainwashed” Zaharan Hashim to carry out the string of attacks. However Minister Weerasekera assertation is n question according to the Sunday times political analyst.

 

According to the political analyst  the question arises as to why  Naufer Moulavi  was not summoned to testify before the Commission of Inquiry?

 

Secondly, has the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) any evidence to confirm this belated claim?

 

More importantly, why should Minister Weerasekera make such an official announcement?

 

Should it not have come from the investigators?
