SL debating team set for World Schools Debating Championship Final

The National Debate Team of Sri Lanka  has reached the finals at the World Schools Debating Championship after defeating Ireland  7 - 0 in the semi-final.

 

Sri Lanka will face Canada in the Final on August 2. 

 

Team Sri Lanka comprises of students from a number of leading schools in the country and it is coached by Sanjit Dias and Kithmina Hewage.

 

Furthermore, 68 countries have participated in the championship this year.
