SL Police warns against coronavirus related fake news

Police Spokesman SSP Jaliya Senaratne urged the people not be misled  by false information in relation to COVID-19 patients.

 

He stated that law will be enforced sternly against those who spread  false information and rumours on social media regarding the above. 

 

The general public have been requested to only trust the official press releases issued by the  Director General of Government Information, the presidential task force on COVID-19 or  the Director General of Health Services.
