SJB MPs attend parliamentary sessions after the strike

Members of the Samagi Jana Balawega who were boycotting the Parliamentary sessions today (Dec. 08) participated in the Parliamentary sessions.

 

They accused the ruling party members of violence and refused to enter the chamber until the security of the opposition members was assured.

 

Addressing the House on December 04, Chief Opposition Whip Lakshman Kiriella said that he would not attend the sittings unless the security of the Opposition members was ensured.
