Rishad Bathiudeen was hospitalized

Rishad Bathiudeen, a Member of Parliament who is in the custody of the CID has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital due to an illness.

 

He is being detained and questioned under the Prevention of Terrorism Act and this morning he had informed the authorities that he was ill.

 

He was taken to the National Hospital for treatment and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

 

Police Media Spokesman Senior DIG Ajith Rohana stated that the CID has deployed officers at the scene for his security.
