Requests from students to reopen the Faculty of Technology at the University of Colombo

Students say they are distressed by the non-reopening of the Faculty of Technology at Homagama, Pitipana, the University of Colombo, which was closed due to the Corona expansion.

When inquired about this from the Dean of the Faculty of Technology, University of Colombo, Prof. Accordingly, examinations will be held soon and student groups will be called for practical examinations, the Dean said.

Sumedha Jayanetti said that a problem has arisen due to the restriction of the number of students to be admitted to hostels to 50% of the total capacity as per the Corona Anti-Corruption Health Regulations.
