Ranjan goes to court for second contempt case

The second contempt of court case against former parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake was filed in the Supreme Court this morning (24).

 

The case was filed against the former Deputy Minister on charges of contempt of court for making a controversial statement regarding the composition of the Supreme Court bench hearing petitions filed by the President against the dissolution of Parliament in 2018.
