Showers will occur at times in the Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Matale and Polonnaruwa districts.

 

Showers or thundershowers at times in the North and in the Anuradhapura district.

 

Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts during the evening.

 

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and lightning in those areas during thundershowers.
