Railways Dept. to re-employ retiring essential service workers on contract basis

Sri Lanka Railways will re-employ on contract basis the essential service employees who are due to retire at the age of 60 years from 31st December 2022.

The President's Secretariat has instructed the Sri Lanka Railway Department to obtain the services of these pensioners if they are required.
