Lanksa Sathosa slashes prices of seven food items

 

On the occasion of the upcoming Christmas season, Lanka Sathosa has reduced the prices of seven essential food items.

Lanka Sathosa, issuing a statement in this regard, announced that the following price reductions will be effective from Saturday (Dec. 23).

• Big onions – Rs. 185.00.
• Red lentils - Rs. 374.00. (Reduced by Rs. 11.00)
• Canned Fish (Local) - Rs. 425 grams for Rs. 475.00 (Reduced by Rs. 15.00)
• Chillies – Rs. 178.00. (Reduced by Rs. 15.00)
• Halmassan - Rs. Per kg Rs. 1,100.00 (Reduced by Rs. 50.00)
• White sugar - Rs. Per kg Rs. 220.00 (reduced by Rs. 4.00
• Potatoes - Rs. Per kg Rs. 1,100.00 (Reduced by Rs. 5.00)
