Prof. Channa Jayasumana appointed Acting Health Minister

State Minister Prof. Channa Jayasumana has been appointed as the Acting Cabinet Minister of Health on February 16, stated the President's Media Division.

 

He is also  the State Minister of Pharmaceutical Production, Supply and Regulation.

 

The above appointment comes in the absence of Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi who is under medical care for Covid-19.
