PM instructs to reduce import restrictions

The Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has instructed the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Ajith Nivard Cabraal to reduce the import restrictions.

The purpose of this order is to consider the difficulties faced by the entrepreneurs and the public due to the existing restrictions on the importation of non-essential goods and equipment.
