Other health services staff will get Covid-19 allowance

All the other health services staff will be entitled for a special allowance of Covid-19 duties from this month onwards. The cabinet has decided to allocate a Rs.7500/= special allowance to their basic salary.

 

Mrs. Pavithra Wanniarachchi The health minister, she has forwarded this cabinet paper and got the approvals. Few weeks ago, the government allocated a special allowance for doctors who perform duties in related to Covid-19 and other health services staff started a picketing to protest against that decision.
