Niroshan Premaratne appointed ITN Chairman

Former Member of Parliament Niroshan Premaratne has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Independent Television Network (ITN) with effect from yesterday.

 

Mr. Premaratne, a former TV presenter of the state-owned ITN channel, has contested and won the 2015 Parliamentary Elections from the Matara District. However, he could not be re-elected in 2020.
