A discussion was held today between the State Minister of Transport and the Station Masters

A discussion between the State Minister of Transport and the OICs was held today (December 28) between the Sri Lanka Railway Station Masters Association and the Minister of State for Transport Dilum Amunugama.

 

The union yesterday decided to take a trade union action due to the failure of the discussions held with the General Manager of Railways yesterday morning.

 

Meanwhile, Secretary of the Locomotive Engine Operators Association Indika Dodangoda has warned that if the authorities decide to resolve the demands of the Station Masters, they will resort to a trade union action.
