Nepal to use Chinese COVID19 vaccine

The government of Nepal is to make use of a donation of China's Sinopharm vaccine they received, officials said.
Earlier Nepal was compelled to stop the Covid-19 inoculations after India earlier suspended the exports of their vaccine.
Nepal started their vaccinations in January following one million doses of the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine from India while another 348,000 vaccines came from the World Health Organization under the Covax scheme.
On Monday 800,000 doses of China's Sinopharm vaccine reached Nepal which will enable the government to resume the vaccination programme.
The moves comes in the wake of doubts cast over the Chinese vaccine. Even Sri Lanka has not given the final approval for the vaccine.
