Mr. Jinadasa Guruge, International Gem Trader has passed away

Jinadasa Guruge, the owner of Guruge Gems in Kahawatta, an international gem merchant, has passed away at a private hospital in Colombo today.

He was 86 years old at the time of his death and a father of seven.

He is considered as a pioneer in taking the local gem industry to the international arena.
