Mobile and landline numbers are legally approved to provide portability services in Sri Lanka

Legal approval has been granted to provide the number portability service for mobile and fixed lines in Sri Lanka, President’s spokesman Kingsly Rathnayake announced today.

In March, it was announced that the number portability service for mobile and fixed lines, is expected to come into effect from October 2021.
