Mahela summoned to give statement on match-fixing allegations

Former Sri Lanka Cricket Captain Mahela Jayawardena has been summoned to appear before the Special Investigations Unit on Prevention of Offenses Relating to Sports over the 2011 Cricket World Cup Final match fixing claims made by the former Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage.

 

He was the Vice-Captain of the Sri Lanka national team that reached the  final match of the 2011 ICC World Cup.
