Maharagama Cancer Hospital faces medicinal shortage

 

Many doctors have reported that there is an acute shortage of medicines in several hospitals including the Maharagama Cancer Hospital.

However, during a press conference held at the Health Promotion Bureau (HPB) Wednesday (February 15), specialist pediatric oncologist Dr. Sanjeeva Gunasekara stated that the crisis at the Maharagama Cancer Hospital has been somewhat alleviated due to donations.

He also asked all those who want to donate to the hospital, both individuals and companies, to contact the hospital director in this regard.

Dr. Gunasekara further mentioned that the hospital has a separate section to accept and accept donations.
