Lankapura Divisional Secretariat Employee tests positive for COVID-19

Director-General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe confirmed that an employee attached to the Lankapura Divisional Secretariat in Polonnaruwa has tested positive for COVID-19.

 

The said individual has been a close associate of a patient who tsted positive for the pandemic from the Kandakadu Rehabilitation Center and he has been identified when the staff of the Lankapura Divisional Secretariat was subjected to PCR tests. 

 

The Lankapura Divisional Secretariat premises has been temporarily closed off and the required measures have been implemented to detect and quarantine the close associates of the said individual.
