Importation of milk powder stopped

The importing companies stated that the importation of milk powder was stopped in order to stop the huge losses incurred by the importing companies due to the failure of the Consumer Affairs Department or the Ministry of Trade to pay the required price for the imported milk powder.

It is reported that the quantity of milk powder released to the market during the last month has been reduced by 50% and now it has been reduced by 66%.
